Togo is the only country in the world which has its capital situated right next to a border. The city itself is a mixture of the traditional, with interesting and lovely people. One cannot talk about Togo without mentioning the fetish market with its voodoo charms. Togo is really an interesting place to wander. With its villages' unique cultures and festivals one would like to be in Togo everyday. Togo's wildlife parks include the Fazao National Park outside Sokode, the Kara National Park near Kara, and the Lions' park southwest of Dapaong. Togo shares borders with Benin, Burkina Faso, and Ghana. The Atlantic Ocean lies to the south of the country. Togo is proud of its long sandy beaches shaded by palms between Lome, the capital, to Cotonou, in Benin.
