The influx of foreign visitors in recent years has brought about an explosion of tours and activities.

No wonder South Africa is a 'rainbow nation'. South Africa is of many colours and unique cultures, very stable with lovely people, and has much to offer volunteers and interns. Whether you come for volunteering/internship or for safari, South Africa has lots to offer you. Visiting and working in South Africa will take you to explore the museums and gardens of Cape Town, endless golden beaches, Drakensburg mountain -- which offers excellent climbing opportunities -- living and moving among wildlife and conservation in Pilansburg, Kruger national park, cheetah farm and lions and hypo park which are an ideal places to spot the big five (elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo). Getting oneself immersed quickly into the culture of the people is really amazing, allowing one to taste the buffet of local languages: Afrikaans, Ndebele, Sepedi, Sesotho, Swati, Tsonga, Tswana, Venda, Xhosa, and Zulu. South Africa is really an exhilarating, spectacular and complex country with great and wonderful people.

Ghana boasts of beautiful sandy beaches, lagoons, Wli falls, Kakum National Park, Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary, Bia National Park, and Mole Game Reserve which are options for hiking, wildlife spotting and seeing savannahs and rainforest. Ghana is also endowed with its unique, rich culture, and is the gateway to West Africa. Ghana is a very peaceful nation in Africa with very friendly people with a unique and powerful culture. It is a country you will want to visit again and again. Ghana is situated in West Africa and is bounded by Burkina Faso, Togo, the Atlantic Ocean, and C�te d'Ivoire.

Benin

VIOLENCE FREE COUNTRY

Benin is well noted with attractive artifacts of Voodoo and fetishism. Benin has wonderful national parks in West Africa where you can spot elephants, hippos, buffalo and lions. It also has a very spectacular coastline well suited to swimming. The beaches are quite safe with spectacular white sand and the water is clear and clean. Benin also boasts of a unique fascinating complex culture. Benin really has a lot to offer you. Come with us to Benin. Benin is situated in West Africa and is bordered to the east by Nigeria, to the north by Niger and Burkina Faso, and to the west by Togo.

Beaches, the national parks, Grand popo, Atakora Mountains, Ethnological Museum and very interesting night life: Voodoo and Fetish festivals, spending one night in a village where there is no night. Possible to travel to Togo and Ghana for a visit.

VERY POPULAR COUNTRY IN WEST AFRICA

Togo is the only country in the world which has its capital situated right next to a border. The city itself is a mixture of the traditional, with interesting and lovely people. One can not talk about Togo without mentioning the fetish market with its voodoo charms. Togo is really an interesting place to wander. With its village's unique cultures and festivals one would like to be in Togo everyday. Togo's wildlife parks include the Fazao National Park outside Sokode, the Kara National Park near Kara and the Lions' park southwest of Dapaong. Togo shares borders with Benin, Burkina Faso and Ghana. The Atlantic Ocean lies to the south of the country. Togo is proud of its long sandy beaches shaded by palms between Lome the capital of Togo to Cotonou in Benin.

Nigeria is proud of its traditional juju music, Afro beat and reggae. Nigeria is the land for music. Nigeria also has over 250 different peoples, languages, histories, and religion.

Nigeria is the most populated country in Africa and very proud with its unique and wonderful traditions and culture. This is coupled with its wonderful National park where you can spot chimps, hippos and a number of birds. You can also go for wonderful hiking in Gembu and Bukura, Kurra falls and Assop Waterfalls where camping is also possible. Nigeria has a lot to offer you. Its history, arts and culture are just wonderful.

Senegal in general is the favorite French speaking country in West Africa. Dakar, the capital, is a wonderful city with the Senegal's major port. Senegal boasts of good beaches, interesting boat riding, slave station, several days organized cruise, national parks with bird life and unique traditional festivals. No wonder everyone wants to go to Senegal. A good place to wander - through its streets and plains without paying anything.

The Gambia

ONE OF THE TINIEST COUNTRIES IN AFRICA

The Gambia is one of the tiniest counties in Africa located on the Atlantic coast with lovely people, endowed with a unique and powerful culture. Its a country you'd like to make your second home in Africa. The Gambia is proud of its landscape which features Mangrove swamps, park-like savannah, beaches, river and its tributaries.

The Gambia has offer a lots to offer. The area around McCarthy Square has a colonial atmosphere with pleasant 19th century architecture which is worth visiting. Traveling on River Gambia, which dominates the country, also provides opportunities for fishing, boating and sailing. Your visit to The Gambia will also give you an opportunity to explore Abuko Nature Reserve, which has crocodiles, monkeys, birds and antelopes.

Malawi

THE WARM HEART OF AFRICA

Malawi is bordered to the north and northeast with Tanzania, to the south, east and southwest with Mozambique and to the west with Zambia. Malawi is proud of its Lake Malawi, the third largest lake in Africa. The Northern Region in Malawi is mountainous and features the rolling Nyika Plateau, valleys and the thickly forested slopes of the Viphya Plateau. The Central Region is mainly the country's agriculture area with fine upland scenery. Malawi also boasts of conservation and wildlife that attracts many visitors. Malawians are extremely friendly towards travelers. Nature lovers will really adore the national parks and game reserves, mountain hiking and plateau trekking.

A COUNTRY WITH A MIX OF ALL THAT IS GOOD ABOUT AFRICA

Tanzania is bordered by Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. Dar es Salam is the gateway to Tanzania and is also the capital and where the major port is located. It is very close to Mountain Kilimanjaro, Dodoma and the nearby island of Zanzibar which is a few minutes away by flight. Tanzania welcomes visitor with many beautiful beaches, a fishing village for fishing, ruins, Persian tombs, mosques, Africa's highest mountain (Mt. Kilimanjaro), the second largest lake in the world, Rift Valley, the finest and the largest national park in the world where you can spot lots of wildlife including wildebeest, monkey, antelope, lion, cheetah, crocodile, gazelle, flamingo, Zebra and birdlife. You can also enjoy nightlife in the top tourist hotels and restaurants.

Zambia

IN ZAMBIA YOU COME PRETTY CLOSE TO FIND THE 'REAL' AFRICA

Zambia with its vast plateau is bordered by Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. Zambia is proud of Victoria Falls. The Zambezi river together with the man-made Lake Kariba, is one of the most spectacular sights in Africa (if not the world). The magnificent Luangwa, Kafue and other National Parks have some of the most prolific animal populations which include Herds of buffalo, elephants, antelopes, plenty of lions, zebra, rhinos, monkeys, baboons, wild pigs, hippopotami and crocodiles. Attractions in the capital Lusaka include nightclubs, restaurants, cinemas, the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, the Munda Wanga Botanical Gardens and Zoo. Nightlife is very spectacular in the capital Lusaka. Activities include dancing, floorshows, cinemas and theatres. Local culinary specialties include bream from the Zambezi, Kafue and Luapula rivers. Apart from sightseeing, these places are also centers for activities ranging from canoeing to white-water rafting and bungee jumping.

Zambia has lots of safari opportunities, mainly in its great national parks. Luangwa, Lower Zambezi and Kafue are excellent for bird-watching. Zambia, in particular Livingstone, has adventure activities which include outstanding canoeing and white-water rafting on the Zambezi River, while the bridge and gorge downstream of Victoria Falls offers bungee jumping, abseiling, rock climbing and hiking. Very popular are rides on the river in larger boats with decks, rails, a bar and many other facilities; Most popularly known locally as a booze cruise: an evening boat tour with a few drinks.

Travelers are treated very well, and feel at home. Living with the people of Uganda is really interesting. Uganda is worth visiting. Botswana borders South Africa to the southeast, and also Zimbabwe and Namibia. Botswana welcome visitors to the north, central and western with the Kalahari Desert and Gaborone, the capital with an excellent National Museum with natural history and ethnological exhibitions. Situated on the west coast of Africa, Cameroon share borders with Gulf of Guinea, Nigeria, Chad, Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. Cameroon welcomes visitors to its beautiful northwest, volcanic peaks covered by bamboo forest, waterfalls and many markets, shops and cinemas. Mt. Cameroon the highest Mountain in West Africa, the cathedral, the Artisanat National (a craft/souvenir market) and Wouri Bridge are well worth visiting. The Kalamaloue Reserve, in northern Cameroon, is small but offers plentiful opportunities for viewing antelope, monkey and warthog.

This is a place of sunbathing, hiking, climbing, diving or riding and above all, it is a place for safaris. Kenya is proud of fabulous scenery which include indigo sea and white sand beaches, gray-green bushveld, the golden grassland, the great Rift Valley and the desolate volcanic wasteland, Lake Turkana, game-viewing and birdlife. Coupled with all this, the people are so nice and friendly.
