STAESA takes you to the heart of Africa within your short stay in Africa at a very affordable cost. Join this amazing experience, life changing program in Africa and India. This program really makes you to achieve you goals - Not only as a tourist but someone who really cares and love to touch lives. You are really at the right place. The program includes host family program, traditional drumming and dancing, 5 days tour to see wonderful places of Africa including one night in a typical African village where the program participants are summoned around a locally made lantern to listen to tales, volunteer activities are also included to make your stay more meaningful. You can also combine this program with language and culture immersion program. Participants can volunteer in a variety of areas including: HIV/AIDS homes, schools, orphanages, law firms, media houses, Construction and hospitals.

This program is currently operating in South Africa, Ghana, Togo, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Benin.

The minimum program duration is 2 weeks:  650 USD for all countries.

The maximum program duration is 3 weeks:  950 USD for all countries.

PROGRAM FEES INCLUDE: Accommodation (Budgeted), all meals (Budgeted), transportation for sight seeing, volunteer, airport pick up, orientation, transportation for a night stay in the village. The program fees cover everything but exclude the following - Your flight fare, insurance, internal travel, Medications, phone calls and emails.

Program Outline

DAY 1:    Volunteers will arrive to the international Airport. The program participant(s) will be introduced to program facilitators, STAESA staff, and the host families. Volunteers will spend the rest of their day with their families.

DAY 2:   Orientation at Students Travel And Exposure South Africa offices. Orientation covers mini-adventure itinerary, issues regarding volunteering during the sight seeing (1-hour Guest lecture), field condition, host family or anticipated living conditions, safety issues, climate expectations, working projects, and related topics. Immediately after the orientation, Volunteer(s) will be taken for a short community visit.

VOLUNTEER PLACEMENT:   Spend a few days of your stay volunteering at HIV/AIDS homes, orphanages and schools.

MINI-ADVENTURE:   Spend the rest of your stay for sight seeing. Itinerary for country(s) of interest will be sent to you as soon as we get your completed application form.
